Do you know why you are alive? Every human being has a life purpose--at least one--an elevated reason to exist. Pursuit of this transcendent purpose is the single greatest source of fulfillment, meaning and significance that a person can experience. Interestingly, it is reported that most humans never go after their life purpose, and those who do, begin in their 40s or 50s. Youth is often squandered in pursuit of pleasures and sensational activities centered on self. Life purpose elevates you and stretches your life to reach far beyond yourself to impact other lives.

If you are not clear on your primary life purpose, begin to ask yourself these questions: Why was I born? What activities, work or profession best suit my unique makeup? What skills or competencies feel natural and fairly easy to me? What work activities bring me greatest joy? Your purpose may take much time to unfold, but the pursuit is exhilarating.
