When to Quit
"Some have been thought brave because they were afraid to run away"
--Ralph Waldo Emerson
Wisdom often calls you to challenge accepted truths. One example is, Never fear...but never saynever. Another example is, never quit... never run away...but again, never say never. Danger: good judgment may call for you to cut ties, turn around and go the opposite way. Many have suffered in a business or some other situation that is not profitable, productive or pleasing, but they continue on, just to save face--just to protect their pride.
To be clear, I urge you to be persistent, insistent and consistent in pursuit of your goals and objectives in life. Often your greatest breakthroughs come after serious trial, disappointment and hardship--conditions you must endure in order to experience the success you seek. However, know the difference between the unstoppable pursuit of a worthy goal and the need to take a detour from a dead end road...to exercise your exit plan.
