Krystal Watt
In the summer of 2017 going into her freshman year of high school Krystal volunteered at a summer camp and helped watch kids and also helped prepare the food & made sure the kids were having a great time.
during her freshman year of high school she joined Everglades high school choir where they performed at Disney world. That experience was amazing.
Later on her freshman year she switched schools and joined the theatre and medical program. The medical program really opened her up to a lot about the human body. She learned many words, different muscles, and bones of the body. She graduated high school with distinction and a 3.4 gpa.
Krystal will be attending FSW, majoring in business and later on, would like to get her real estate license. After she graduates FSW with her AA, she will transfer to a University to get her bachelors.

THANK YOU!
Thanks to everyone who have contributed to the 2021 Scholarship Awards. Despite we were not able to meet in person to celebrate our awesome scholarship recipients, there was still no lack or anything. It was a beautiful evening.
It was a splendid occasion starting with our Mistress of Ceremony, Ms Eloise Findlay, a Broward school educator who kept us engaged with nuggets of wisdom and words to remind us that learning never stops. Thanks also to our Commissioner Maxwell Chambers, who always represents our City, Miramar to let us know he appreciates the work that we do in the community.
The highlights for the evening were our two guest speakers who were no stranger to our FFC community. Our young and talented past recipient, Kerri Ann Henry was able to keep everyone's attention by doing her presentation in the form of a recipe.
She was able to highlight from a college perspective, by illustrating the expectation of a fulfilled and challenged transition, of achieving your dream by staying focus and adopt to change.
Our next speaker, Mr. Alen Hsu; a lawyer who grew up with real struggles and was motivation by his parents, to know not to settle but work hard and then you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
The evening ended with some great music by our own devoted and awesome musicians, Sons of Mystro (past recipients), still shows us that even on social media (zoom) we can dance and have fun.
Again, thanks to everyone. We will continue to sow seeds and help these talented and driven students, to achieve their dreams.
