Leslie Ross is a long standing FFC member who is also the President's Assistant. She is a very organized, loyal, and hardworking volunteer. Leslie makes sure that FFC follow up phone calls are taken care of. She helps the President, Donneth keep up to date with her telephone correspondence. Leslie volunteers to represent FFC at any event the Presidents requires FFC attendance/representation, and recently represented FFC at a Women's Conference.

Eugene Fitz-Ritson, CPC is a very humble professional who consistently gives of his expertise, willingly from the heart. He is a Licensed Florida Attorney, and Leadership Coach, and an authority on the subject, 'Leadership Through Project Managment' Attorney Fitz-Ritson in now teaching the FFC Weekly Leadership Training Class, which is a hit with everyone. and he is already getting results. His extensive expertise comes through during the training sessions.
Attorney Fitz-Ritson is also a Certified Professional Communicator and is the Director of Speakers' Club of Miami "Speak From The Heart."

Volunteer Of The Month For March, 2011
Cecile Chung (Joy)
Foundation Member & FFC Vice President.
Cecile is a foundation member of the FFC Organization and one of it's hardest working members. Cecile is the resident 'Pastry Chef' and makes sure that there is something 'baked' and ready to eat on most Thursday nights. She is very active with fundraising and can be counted on to cook a dish to serve our guests when we have a community event.
Cecile makes it her duty to call members who have not attended meetings in a while, to inquire about their well being and update them about FFC happenings. Cecile makes sure to inform the organization when she hears about any job fairs or unusual hiring drives going on in nearby communities. She is dedicated to the FFC cause and assists the President well in her role.

Marcia is a foundation member of the FFC Organization and one of it's hardest working Board Members. She works as an Administrator at Primecare of Coral Gables and brings her wealth of managerial experience to the FFC Organization. Marcia works hard with President Donneth, to help keep FFC successful. Her organizational, and managerial skills are transfered to her role as FFC's Coordinator. Marcia gives of her very best to make sure that FFC remains viable and continues to meet the needs of the community.
Her passion is for the Youths and she is one of the persons mostly credited for FFC's successful annual "Realizing Your Self Worth Scholarship." Marcia goes above and beyond her call of duty, and once monthly, she co-hosts the 'Donneth Show" FFC's Community Solutions Program aired on WAVS 1170am. Her topics are always geared for the youths and bring rave reviews for the program.

Evelyn Haynes (Pam)

Evelyn is a long standing member of FFC. She is the organization's Assistant Secretary. Evelyn is very dedicated and helps the organization keep organized on many different levels. She provides invaluable assistance to President Donneth. FFC Events enjoy much success partly due to the efforts of Evelyn and her crew. Evelyn's husband Lennox, is the chair of the Hospitality Committee. Together, they are a dynamic couple who helps to get things done in the FFC organization.
Evelyn is the proud mom, of Honor Roll student Monicea, who is heading to college this fall, on a full scholarship.

Carlisa McNee
FFC's Young Hero
Our second winner his month is none other than Miss Carlisa McNee, FFC's Young Hero. She went above and beyond, to help her friend receive medical attention after he was accidentialy injured and was suffering from respiratory distress. After her heroic efforts, he was treated and spent several days in the hospital.
Carlisa has been a member of FFC since she was five years old , when her mom Carlene, FFC's Secretary, started taking her to meetings. Her keen sense of caring and wanting to help others, makes her one of our volunteer winners this month. Carlisa was just honored with FFC's Young Hero, Volunteer Award for helping to save her friend's life.

Devon remains one of FFC's most loyal, reliable, and hardworking supporter and participant. The organization and other team members, credits Devon with much of the success that it has achieved in mobilizing underachievers, the marginalized and the under served in our community. Devon's dedication continues to make him a valuable volunteer and team player in the FFC organization.
Devon is a Master Mechanic, and takes pride in his role as an unpaid volunteer for FFC in the City of Miramar. He always has a ready smile, and words of encouragement for everyone he meets. Way to go Devon!

Elaine works with the Family Courts and knows a few things about discipline. She brings that same no nonsense attitude to her volunteer job as FFC's Treasurer and Fundraising Chairperson. Her enthuiasm is a joy to behold. Elaine has an easy way of getting what she requires from your pocket book, while making you laugh at the same time. Elaine can always be seen at every FFC function accompanied by her supportive husband. FFC is blessed to have such a hardworking volunteer.

This was not supposed to happen...we have an unspoken rule...the President & PRO would not be considered for this title...volunteer of the month. Well, The Points of Light Institute changed all of that when they named Donneth 'A Daily Point of Light' on August 24, 2011.
What can we say, except CONGRATULATIONS DONNETH! Job well done. You earned it and we cannot hide behind the rules this month. Your tireless efforts have received national attention. This Month's award belongs to you...well every month would be yours, if we didn't have that rule.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication. This great organization keeps growing bigger and better, all because you never give up trying to find ways to make everyhing better for everyone. Thanks to your loving, caring family, Kevin your husband, and daughters Shaneil and Karena, the community is able to have so much more of your time.

Rev. Dr. Carreen Clarke is a awesome woman of God. She finds time to Pastor her church and give into the lives of members of not just her church, but the entire community. Dr. Clarke balances her time ministering to members of her church and appearing on the FFC radio show 'Community Solutions'. Her sound advice has helped many individuals, and her advocacy has saved many youths from juvenile delinquency.

Shaneil Wedderburn
FFC Student Tutor
Shaneil is FFC's Student Tutor. She has been volunteering her time on a regular basis to help community kids with their homework. Shaneil balances her work load as a dual enrolled student, with her selfless efforts to help disadvantaged kids. Even though she volunteers so many hours, she continues to maintain a higher than 5.2 GPA.
Shaneil has already received acceptance from two local universities, and is looking forward to studying to become a Pediatrician. She plans to minor in Business Administration, so she can run her own Pediatric Office Complex.
She believes that she can do anything because she gets the strength and determination from God.

Debbie Thomas-Brown was FFC's Public Relations Officer, the Web Designer and Community Radio Co-Host for Family & Friends Connection's Radio Outreach program that airs on WAVS 1170 am radio. Debbie is a Nurse and takes her role as community advocate very seriously.
She works tirelessly to help community participants to find solutions for life's challenges. Debbie is especially active in advocating for domestic violence victims, and women and men suffering due to the deception of same sex infidelity. She is also active in community outreach in Jamaica via her family's Stroke Outreach Foundation in Westmoreland Parish.
Debbie, is the founder of local South Florida Connects, Inc. a faith based community organization that provides social support to the community.
She works tirelessly to help community participants to find solutions for life's challenges. Debbie is especially active in advocating for domestic violence victims, and women and men suffering due to the deception of same sex infidelity.
