So, this has been a really tough day for most of us huh? What do you do now that you have finished battling with the incompetent boss, who didn't know enough to train the new employee, who by the way, you heard will be replacing you. You wonder, why you havent even received a heads up from people who claim to be your buddies. It is not easy to deliver bad news, nor is it in good taste to talk about something as serious as a firing, without concrete information.
Yea, this is good stuff for the water cooler, but most of us try to avoid anything that will definitely, cause some people to loose some of their well protected, self esteem. Do you feel what I am saying? OK.
Sometimes we know too much, or think we know enough when we don't really know anything at all. Let's put it this way. We should never try to repeat anything that can potentially damage someone else's psyche. Hello, some people are very fragile. The ego is a terrible thing to mess with. Listen, you don't live with those people, but there are some really scared people who have to share space with many of them.
Let's be fair. Let's be considerate. Think about the poor men, women who have been suffering day after day, without a clue how to positively end their misery. Give then a break, show some emphaty, would you? Yea, that's more like it. Makes you feel better, huh? Yes, the point is, doing something positive, with good intentions really does a body good. Can't you feel the stress leaving you already?
Come on, don't tell me that tightness at the back of your neck isn't a little better already. Yea, it will continue to feel better as long as you tell yourself it's OK to give ourself permission to do the right thing, even when you feel crappy.
Go ahead. take a deep breath, stretch. Now, go right to the refrigerator and drink a tall glass, bottle whatever you have, of water. Yea, Yea, WATER! No sugar now please, or anything that makes the sugar. If you are religious, whisper or say out loud, (whatever works best for you), a PRAYER. Yes, a P-R-A-Y-E-R. Remember,You just have to believe, just do it and see and feel how well it works.
Did you eat today? If you didn't, go and get something to eat. While you are getting food, try to think about what nutrients you need right now. Remember, too much SUGAR, CARBS, will make you feel good temporarily, but you will probably crash and burn later. Crash and burn...then go right back to the negative thinking. You have been doing good so far so let's keep focusing on the positives.
RELAX, however you do it best, Well, try to avoid the other poisons.. Yes, I know it's hard but try anyway. That's good. You are doing very well. Keep it up. A little positive thinking can go a long way. Try this every day and you will be amazed how good you feel. Remember to share the joy. Yes share your good feelings, this reinforces them and make them real. YES! You can do it.
